Dr. Brian DiGangi is senior director of shelter medicine at the ASPCA. He earned his DVM and MS from the University of Florida and published research on a variety of canine and feline clinical questions. DiGangi is board certified in both canine and feline practice and shelter medicine practice by the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners, is the current editor of the American Heartworm Society, and past president of the Association of Shelter Veterinarians.
