Offering Shelter Services To Underserved Residents

Standley Ballroom

Every shelter has contact with underserved populations and their pets. Unfortunately, much of this contact is not positive. Throughout this session, we are going to learn how to positively affect these people and their pets. We will learn: how to identify underserved populations within your community; how to develop programs to serve these populations’ and, how to find funding to do so. The goal of this session is to increase underserved human and pet quality of life through outreach and intake diversion programs offered by animal welfare groups.
